Important: before attempting to flash this ROM, please understand the risks to your device, which include the possibility of causing it to enter a bootloop, causing a soft-brick, or potentially even a hard-brick. Understand that the chances of causing a problem which cannot be fixed is very low, but still a real possibility. If something crazy should go wrong, and you end up with a broken device, do not blame anyone but yourself. Consider yourself warned.

Here are a few things you should do before starting:
[DLMURL="http://www.vikitech.com/10347/perform-nandroid-backup-restore-android-device"]Create a full NANDroid backup[/DLMURL].
Backup your /efs partition to an external location, such as your computer. A great tool to do this is provided by lyriquidperfection — [DLMURL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308546"]EFS Pro[/DLMURL].
Ensure that you're running a 5.x version of ClockworkMod Recovery.

Now that that's all said and done, let's commence with the...

Instructions—
  1. Using CWM, make sure to wipe data/factory reset, then wipe cache, and then go into advanced, and wipe the Dalvik cache too.
  2. From there, flash the ROM (JellyBeanAlpha.zip).
  3. Afterwards, repeat the wipe step (step #1).
  4. Continuing on, go into advanced and fix permissions.
  5. After fixing the permissions, go back and flash the kernel (zIMAGE-JB.zip) — this will fix the mobile data connection. Then flash CWM-SU-v0.89_fixSU.zip, it will get SuperUser working on the ROM.
  6. Finally, reboot the device.
Downloads—
  • ALPHA2(Latest) (No need to flash zIMAGE-JB.zip (Zimage is already in the zip!)

    This zips are outdated!)
  • ROM: JellyBeanAlpha.zip | mirror #1, mirror #2, mirror #3, mirror #4, [DLMURL="http://www.sendspace.pl/file/c97f216bd1104d6ee063474"]mirror #5[/DLMURL], [DLMURL="http://www.freetybet.pl/JellyBeanAlpha.zip"]mirror #6[/DLMURL], [DLMURL="http://blurkness.com/android/JellyBeanAlpha.zip"]mirror #7[/DLMURL].
  • Kernel (to fix mobile data): [DLMURL="http://www.mediafire.com/?47e2m41q4i6nibl"]zIMAGE-JB.zip[/DLMURL].
  • SuperUser fix: [DLMURL="https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6JR1u9bfiqYT3dWUHRCbVJQQ28"]CWM-SU-v0.89_fixSU.zip[/DLMURL].
What works, what doesn't—
  • Working: device boot | LED-flash | SD card (internal-only) | MTP (can't copy files) | ADB | Vibration | SuperUser | GSM (courtesy of bpear96) | Network Data (courtesy of stormtroopercs) | logcat (courtesy of edint3000 & bpear96, again).
  • Not working: WiFi | Bluetooth | Camera | Google Now/Google Search | Audio | anything else.
