Notes:
1) I have no idea what the differences are between the versions.
2) LTE is disabled in all radios newer than 0.33. If you want to use LTE, you need to use 0.33, 0.27 or a hybrid.
3) For those on T-Mobile who want to use LTE, see this post. Also see this for a recovery-flashable fix for no audio when using older radios on 4.2.2.
4) For advanced users: the radios from the Optimus G do also work to a certain extent, but they require kernel patches. See here.
5) For those that can't tether when using LTE, [DLMURL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2416822"]here[/DLMURL] are the proper IP tables.

These are flashable in a custom recovery. To flash using fastboot, extract the image from within, and flash that using: fastboot flash radio modem.img

Unofficial hybrid radios

morrislee has done some great work: he replaced the core modem components in 0.84 with those from 0.33 and 0.27. See his posts [DLMURL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43925317#post43925317"]here[/DLMURL] and [DLMURL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43936312#post43936312"]here[/DLMURL]. This enables us to use LTE and yet have all the newer features (power management, audio on T-Mobile, etc.) from the newer radios.

Nexus 4 - Tipp: neueste Baseband-Version

Hallo zusammen.

Ein ganz kurzer Tipp von meiner Seite.
Es gibt ein neues Baseband (0.54) für unser Nexus 4.

Für mich persönlich hat sich das Update gelohnt. In Bereichen meiner Schule, wo ich sonst nie Empfang hatte, folglich auch nicht mobil Surfen konnte, habe ich nun immer mindestens 3 von 4 Balken, und eine stabile Internetverbindung ohne Abbrüche.

Vielleicht hilft das neue Baseband auch anderen bei diesen Problemen.

Es scheint wirklich was zu bringen, für mich zwar zu spät, aber dennoch bringt es was.
 
Jop, bringt anscheinend wirklich was. In der Schule im Ku-Saal hab ich jetzt besseren Empfang als vorher :thumbup:

Funktioniert wirklich sehr viel besser mit dem neuen Baseband :thumbup:
Hab jetzt die gesamte Zugstrecke lang Empfang und keine Unterbrechnungen bei Google Play Music ! :)

Sollte ich vielleicht mal testen..
Wäre schön, wenn der Akku nicht so schnell leergeht aufgrund vom schlechten Netz :flapper:
 
Was mir aber vorher auch schonmal aufgefallen ist:

Wenn nur noch Edge zur Verfügung steht wechselt es nicht sehr schnell zurück zu H.
Z.B. vor Einfahrt in den Bahnhof hatte ich E. Ich weiß aber, dass ich dann eigentlich H+ haben sollte. Es wechselt aber nicht selbstständig zurück, sondern erst wenn ich in den Einstellungen ein Netz suche.
Ist das bei euch auch so ?
